Our Leaders
Christ is the Great Shepherd of the sheep who leads and rules the church through His Word. In the New Testament He establishes Elders and Deacons as those who lead the church under his authority. Elders devote themselves to teaching the Word, prayer, and overseeing the church. Deacons promote unity in the church by meeting needs and stewarding our resources.

Jon Walters
Senior Pastor
Jon came to HBC in 2005 and has served as our Senior Pastor since 2007. He is married to Tara, and they have two children, Paton and Elise. Jon has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Bob Jones University. Jon enjoys reading and cheering for the Washington Redskins.

Chris Gerber
Pastor of Member Care
Chris joined the staff of Harvest Bible Church in 2026 as Pastor of Member Care. He and his wife Jen have two children, Julia and Christian. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University and his Master of Divinity from Bob Jones Seminary. Chris loves history and enjoys following Penn State Nittany Lions football.

Phil has recently retired from a career in business management. He is married to Donna, and they have 2 children, and 8 grandchildren.

Mike works as a school teacher. He is married to Chrystal, and they have 5 children.

Tom leads Bible Visual International, which provides Biblical materials for teaching children across the world. He is married to Betsy, and they have 5 children.

Mike works in construction and is married to Karen. They have four children and four grandchildren.

Tim works in IT. He is married to Sarah, and they have four children.
John Lee
John works as an engineer. He is married to Brandi, and they have two children.
